So is trading gambling?

There is some commotion going on in the futures industry because the trainers cannot give a proper explanation of why people think trading is akin to gambling.

Well, in the first place if you think trading is gambling, you shouldn't be trading in the first place! Of course, the trainers cannot say this openly so they need to beat around the bush and physo people to believe gamblers can become good traders and good traders are good gamblers which is bullload of rubbish.

Gambling is highly emontional and addictive, successful trading is boring.
Gamblers always think of beating the market(or ''the house'' in their perspective) while traders always think of going with the money(remember the big money is controlled by the lucky few?).
Gamblers during winning streak will buy expensive watch or anyhow invest in property using bank loans, successful traders will only withdraw 20% of their winning for grocery/bills.
Gamblers when in a losing streak, will cry father cry mother and blame maybe their maid/dog for their ill fortune. Successful traders know losing is the cost of the trading business.
