Yeap, trading in the arcade has been a very nice experience for me especially when you see folks who can't even afford a car come in here and trade. Wow, they really don't know who they are up against.
Many old simex veterans(or causalities) are still trying to make ends meet trading in the arcade. I tried consoling some of them and they pray to god that I'll continue my success here. I told some of them god doesn't trade for a living.
Some of them like uncle wang(and his 2 sidekicks) are trying to sell naked options which is akin to going to the casino, betting everything on a single hand and hoping that the kind folks on the other side got a lousy hand.
Fat still believes that speed is everything in trading and pays a good hefty sum to vendors/arcade operators for his scalping trills. However, whatever he made is paid back(often many times more) to the eye doctor who need to check on his cataract eyes. Staring hard at the computer screen none stop and without any good sleep really help to make this old dog goes blind faster.
When you have money and charm, many people are willing to give you information in the arcade. Don't forget, the Singapore futures trading arena is very small.
